Happy Valentine's Day!

And I mean Happy Valentine's Day. I don't hold with Singles Appreciation Day or Singles Awareness Day, really I don't. Yes, I am single, for exactly two years today, in fact, since my ex helped me dodge a bullet two Valentine's Days ago. It's just Valentine's Day and it has been for (please hold while I check Google)...well over a thousand years as it was apparently established in 496 AD. Yes, it's traditionally the celebration of couples, now at least, but there are so many different forms of love. I'm single, but I'm okay with it. I have family and friends that I know love me, and the rest will come in time. So, be happy, fellow single ladies and single gents. Celebrate Valentine's Day knowing that there's someone out there, and at least one person (and most likely more than that one) who loves you. Just because you're not with your soul mate now doesn't mean you can't celebrate the day for what it is...a day to share love.
